Beat the summer blahs with Walden Theatre summer programs. Our one to three-week camps and workshops offer acting, art, musical theatre, clown camp, playwriting, and much more for ages 5 -18.
Summer Academy
For three weeks, kids work with Walden Theatre directors on a fully-produced play. The selection for 2014 will be announced soon, but it’s a thrilling new tale by Diana Grisanti. Registration will begin in February. Students will have the exciting experience of rehearsing and performing a play complete with sets, props, and costumes. Six summer sessions available.
Art Camps and Imagination Workshops
Children can explore their inner Picasso (ages 5-11) in one-week sessions or expand their storytelling imaginations (ages 5-7) with a two-week junior academy that teaches artistic expression and explores imaginative storytelling for our youngest students.
Skill-Building Workshops
Young actors ages 9-18 can hone theatre skills in one of our range of offerings, from a three-week Shakespeare Intensive and the two-week Playwriting to Walden’s popular Teen Acting Intensive to an all new Clown Camp as well as the Audition Skills or the Scene & Song Study musical theatre workshop.
