In collaboration with area Arts organizations, the Fund for the Arts has launched an online store focused on summer camps.  FUNforthearts.com creates a “one-stop-shop” where parents can learn about, book, and pay for summer camp sessions online.

“The new platform was a natural extension of our mission,” said Christen Boone, President and CEO of the Fund for the Arts. “Providing transformative out of school opportunities for children includes making those opportunities easily accessible for parents and caregivers.”

The site offers 64 different sessions for ages three to eighteen from eight Arts organizations including: Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, Louisville Ballet, Louisville Visual Art Association, Louisville Youth Choir, StageOne Family Theatre, Kentucky Shakespeare, The Speed Art Museum, and Walden theatre/Blue Apple Players.

“We believe the Arts should be a part of every child’s summer fun,” said Tom Partridge, President of Fifth Third Bank and 2015 Fund for the Arts Campaign Chair.  “Studies show that children gain increased self-esteem, confidence and return to school readiness after a summer of camps engagement.”

FUNforthearts.com camps offer children the opportunity to lean, play, and perform.
