Got culture? You bet we do! Right here in our region, museums, Arts organizations and cultural programs are opening their doors to children this summer for FREE! That’s right, I said free! It’s all a part of Mayor Greg Fischer’s Cultural Pass for Children program.  What does this mean for you and our community?  It means that it will be easier on the pocketbook to take your family out for a cultural adventure.  It means children all over the ‘Ville will be learning and creating all summer long.  It means we are making a real change here.  A change that will continue to make Louisville a safe, healthy, educated and vibrant city.  And all you have to do to start is visit your local library or Metro Parks Community Center to pick up a punch card on June 9th.

Psst… I even hear that if you fill up that punch card you and your family will be registered for a chance to see PNC Broadway Across America’s The Lion King!  Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba;  it’s the circle of life that moves us all! Speaking of moving us all, meet my dear friend and former Whittenberg Scholarship recipient Emily Newton in this week’s ArtSTORY.  Emily’s passion for storytelling and movement are inspiring.  Just watch…
